Stiles welcomes news of tentative deal for LCBO workers

QUEEN’S PARK – Ontario NDP Leader Marit Stiles has released the following statement in response to the tentative deal reached between OPSEU workers and the LCBO:

“LCBO workers have been fighting for the things that matter the most to the people of Ontario.

"These workers have put their livelihoods on the line for the past two weeks to protect billions of dollars that go into services like healthcare and education from LCBO revenues. Today’s news makes me hopeful – hopeful about a future where we can work together against policies that harm our province.

I know that the people of our province are relieved to see this tentatively resolved and are looking forward to enjoying the summer and grabbing their favourite drinks from their local LCBOs!”
